The Space:
This unit is one of three on the property that does offer community laundry and a natural gas BBQ for guests to use! In the first bedroom there is a queen size bed. In the second bedroom, a full size bed and twin bunk beds. AC can be found in all rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the location! Very close to the beach and a short walk to Carlsbad Village. The place is really nice! We loved the family room with the doors opening right up to the outdoor deck. Everything was very clean and homey. We will definitely look at this place again for future availability.

Can't beat the location, literally a block from the beach and stairways to get down to the sand. Parking in the back was nice to have but we found spots on the street easily. Only a couple blocks from multiple restaurants and bars. Porch out front a great place to hang out and has a view of the ocean. House had beach towels ready in a closet. Great place for a family.
Only oddity was the absence of sheets between fitted sheets on mattress and comforters but I messaged them about it and host was super responsive. They had sheets dropped off promptly for us. Wonderful vacation spot

My family and I stayed here to enjoy Carlsbad while also taking our daughters to Legoland. It was absolutely perfect. It's a charming little cottage, perfectly set up for kids, and it was easy to walk or bike to excellent restaurants. Getting to Legoland was also easy—we went back and forth multiple times each day without it feeling hard. We highly recommend you stay here.

This rental checked all of the boxes for our family, the location is amazing, the overall aesthetic inside and out is relaxing, coastal and lush, and you can walk to everything! We were provided a notebook that includes helpful information on the rental as well as local favorites that were awesome. Would highly recommend booking with Haustay, we definitely will when we return to the area.

We came here for a family trip and the house and location were just perfect. The kids loved the home, it has everything in a beach cottage vibe. The neighborhood is adorable and so close to everything; we were able to walk to Carlsbad Village very easily, down to the beach, and we even went for a short drive to the nearby strawberry farms. Would come back again.

The place was great, as described. Very easy to find and get in, a block or two from the beach, and a few blocks from a ton of restaurants, coffee shops and more. We actually found even better coffee a few miles north in Oceanside (Revolution Roasters) but that was close also. The WiFi worked well, and the sand toys were great for our kids. We'd definitely stay here again.

Cute Cottage & Perfect locationThis location was the best! It was a true 3 minute walk to toes in the sand, near a crosswalk to cross the road. And for whatever the reason the section of the beach right at the bottom of the steps never seemed quite as busy as the others which was great and it was less rocky as well. Cute, Comfy, and Convenient Beach CottagePerfect beach cottage! We enjoyed the location; very short walk to beach and/or Carlsbad Village. This two bed/1 bath had all amenities and comfort to make you feel at home. The outdoor shower, beach supplies, driveway parking, and laundry machine were all added bonuses. Check in/out was a breeze, and provided well in advance of the trip; excellent communication. We enjoyed our stay so much we hope to come back again next year with other families.

Great unit. Great location. Great communication. Only thing is that the “queen” bed truly looked to be more like a full size (although we didn't measure it or anything, so can't say for certain). All beds were pretty firm and very springy - not ideal. But we loved our stay regardless and had a great time with our two babies :)

The property was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our family of five for our vacation from out of state. It was cool and comfortable on hot days, super close to the beach, and had boogie boards and beach chairs for the kids. It was also really nice to sit out on the front deck with a glass of wine listening to the ocean at night. Would 100% stay here again.

This was a great stay, one of the nicest Airbnb's we had been to.
What we liked: The communication with the host was great, very fast response from them, they sent out a plumber when there was an issue in the bathroom. The place is a couple of steps away from the beach, cozy, and got most of the utilities that you may need.
What wasn't great: Some of the furniture was old and very exhaustive, especially the couch/sectional. Some of the beach tools were old and rusty but we were able to use them all. Same

The beach nearby was priceless. The property exceeded our expectations for functional cooking and sufficient dining-in for the family. Many nice shops and restaurants were also walkable. With great weather, the patio provided extra space for the family to also spread out. Expect the beach house/condo feel!

Nice place. Smaller than expected but matched the pictures. It looks like, at one point, it was 1 house that was split into 3 separate places for rentals. Still a very nice, clean, place to rent. Nice area too. Only hiccup was that they rented the downstairs place to a group who was getting married the next day and wanted to go to bed very early and our upstairs place had very creaky, loud wood floors so they could hear every single footstep we made, which means in order to be decent, caring people, we had

Incredible experience! The location was perfect - close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The unit was clean, peaceful, and as pictured. We loved that once we arrived we no longer needed a car since we could walk or ride bikes everywhere we wanted to go. The unit included beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, which was such a breath of fresh air to not have to pack those items. We are already planning our next stay! Thank you!

Great location! Very close to the beach and only a 10-15 min walk from the village. Looked exactly like the pictures and was very comfortable for our family of 3. We were able to hear the people downstairs watching tv from our unit, but overall the street/neighborhood was quiet. We'd definitely stay again!

This was the CUTEST Airbnb! It was so beachy, clean, and light. Hosts were amazing and so responsive the entire time. They even allowed and early check in when we reached out about it!
