This unit is one of three on the property that does offer community laundry and a natural gas BBQ for guests to use! In the first bedroom there is a queen size bed. In the second bedroom, a full size bed and twin bunk beds. The owner has spared no expense and you will find all the comforts of a 5-star hotel, without the price! AC can be found in all rooms.

First impression is wow, the location is so beautiful and the landscaping is gorgeously maintained. The charm of this place is also so unique and such an incredible spot.
The property owners and managers are very responsive and friendly. The house was very clean, well stocked, and things were easy to find. Checking in and out was a breeze.
The location speaks for itself, Carlsbad is such a great place to explore and the house is in a prime position.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! The location was perfect- just 1 block from the beach and about a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops of Carlsbad Village. The patio was expansive and relaxing for morning coffee or evening drinks. The house itself had a spacious enough living room area. The bedrooms were on the slightly small side but wasn't a big deal given we spent most time outside or out and about. Overall would recommend and stay here again!

Enjoyed our mini vacation with 3 kids! The outdoor space is gorgeous, we really liked sitting out by the fire pit and night and having coffee in the morning outside. Lots of butterflies. Within easy walking distance to the beach and many nearby shops. Inside was clean and a good space. My only wish is that the coffee maker was a keurig.

We had an amazing time staying in this home. 2 mom friends and their 3 teen girl. It was a beautiful spot that invited all walkers by to engage in friendly conversation. The beach was steps away and the village was just blocks. We felt safe to let the girls adventure in their own while us mom's got some time of peace and calm. No real complaints. To be picky I wound say new mattresses would be great but the beds all worked just fine. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything in this time is expensive and nothing seems quite worth the cost. Loved it 😍 even the 3 teen girls raved about our time away!

I recently stayed at the Cozy Beachside Retreat in Carlsbad, CA, and it was fantastic. The property is beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the two bathrooms were clean and well-stocked.
The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the living room was perfect for relaxing.
The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Carlsbad and close to attractions like Legoland and Carlsbad Village. Plenty of dining and shopping options were nearby.
The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless. Their attention to detail and hospitality made our trip special. Highly recommend this rental!
The ONLY criticism we have is the beds...sagging in the middle, new mattresses are required.

This place is really GREAT. For me, it was a staycation and I had a blast. Great location, walkable to beach, Carlsbad Village, Dini's at the end of the street, surfing at Tamarack's. Only one observation. Closets are very, very small... but, my stay was only 3 days so, not an issue. Just a mention for those considering a longer stay...

Darling cottage just as described. It really did feel like home and was relaxing with easy access to the beach and a great restaurant/bar at the end of the street. It was stocked with plenty of dish ware, glasses and silverware, so if you had visitors theres no need to worry. The beds were comfortable and linens were 'crisp' and clean. We enjoyed sitting out front watching people walk by, it was so funny, we got several comments on 'our' place and we just said thank you, we love it too.

Our stay at this beach house in Carlsbad was absolutely incredible! This was a perfect house for our family of 3. The house itself is in such great condition and is exactly as the description shows. The outdoor deck and firepit was our favorite feature! We spent most of our time there and almost every person that walked by commented on how beautiful the house is and was envious of the outdoor space and fire pit. The bedrooms were comfortable and having AC in both the bedrooms and living room was perfect. Being the first residential street from downtown allowed us to walk into town and down to the beach in 5 minutes which was ideal when you have a toddler! Look no further, this house has everything you'll want and need for a trip to Carlsbad! Thank you for an amazing stay Haustay, we hope to be back soon!!

Absolutely wonderful! This was such a great property, the location, the neighborhood, it's the best looking place on the block. The front deck is huge, surrounded by stunning gardens that EVERY passerby commented on, and fire pit that we used nightly to make s'mores with the kids and a direct ocean view.
Check in and out was a breeze.
The beach is a couple minutes walk up the street, there is ample parking in the back of the house and the location on a (very rare) large corner lot was perfect. The inside has a very bohemian beach vibe, and the amenities were very thought out. But I promise you'll spend your entire trip on that huge front deck looking at the ocean. We are already planning to come back and stay next year.

Place looked exactly as pictured. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance and one dedicated parking space on property. Washer and dryer is shared with two other rentals. Management gave us plenty of towels, and TP which was appreciated. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was perfect for our family of four. The neighborhood was quiet and the quick access to the beach was a favorite of our two children. The beds are very comfortable (a favorite for the parents) and the couch was cozy for game night. The kids loved having board games to choose from and play, too. We appreciated having our own parking space and having all the beach gear we needed for a fun day by the ocean. The restaurants nearby have good food and are kid-friendly. There are a ton of fun things to do in San Diego…we went to LegoLand, raced go karts at K1 Racing, toured the USS Midway, went whale watching on the America, rode the carousel at Seaport Village, and visited nearby beaches, as well as Carlsbad beaches. It was the perfect trip and we couldn't have asked for a better family experience!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Carlsbad, you can't go wrong with 190 Walnut. The location is perfect, literally a block from the beach, and a quick walk to Carlsbad Village with all of its cute shops and restaurants.

We love this place and have stayed before at another attached unit. This time we were in for a wedding.
Owners were great and the place is fully stocked. What more is there than a short walk to the beach or downtown? We use the backpack chairs and our 2 kids use boogie boards and sand toys. We will be back. Thx!

A fantastic place to stay.We enjoyed our stay in Carlsbad. The house was just perfect. The inside was very comfortable and the outside was wonderful! We could see the Ocean from the deck using the many sitting areas including a firepit area. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to cook in. The bedrooms are small but comfortable. Perfect!The house was perfect for our family of 5! So clean and plenty of space - very nice to have all of the amenities of home. Location cannot be beat - just a block up from the beach entrance and quick walk to the village for all of the restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed the front deck and fire pit for evening relaxation and smores for the kids. Provided beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys were also a hit! Will definitely book again when we're in the area.

This place is very nice and clean. The location is great. We walked to restaurants and the village every day which was so convent. I think the house could use some updates, though. The mattress in master bedroom should be replaced and likewise with sofa. The bedrooms are small with not much room to put your clothes away. More hangers and possibly shelving in closet could be added. Not a deal breaker, but would add so much to the visit. Overall a very nice stay for our family of three.

This property was absolutely fantastic!! So close to everything, and walking to downtown is just minutes away. The beach is just feet away. My family and I enjoyed the patio, seeing everyone out walking dogs and enjoying the beach. Even though it's on a corner, it was so quiet and peaceful. No noise at night, and very easy to relax. We were there at the same time a huge (50,000 people in attendance) "street fair" was going on, and everything was still simple and easily accessible. The hosts are AMAZING!!!!!

Nick & Elisa's place was exactly what we needed – just the right amount of space, felt right at home the minute we walked in, and needed for nothing during our stay.
