The condo was right near the water, about a 3 min walk. Fantastic restaurants, coffee, bakeries all with in walking distance. Very quiet and very relaxing. The host was extremely reliable and communicative. They even replaced an appliance that died during our stay. This was one of our favorite stays and highly recommend it to anyone!

A clean and comfortable unit right in the mix of Carlsbad Village. Right in the middle of the restaurants, coffee shops, and everything the village has to offer! And yes, it is steps from the beach. I did not touch my rental car after I parked it.
You might hear the train, but that is life anywhere in Carlsbad. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I loved staying here! More room than expected and a comfy place to come home to at the end of the day of being out. Such an amazing place to walk about with shops and many restaurants to choose from. My favorite was how close the walk to the beach was and we brought out all the beach gear provided, boogie boards were so much fun! We would definitely come back!

Excellent two-week stay! The location is perfect for us...walking distance to the beach, shops/restaurants in the Village, multiple coffee spots, et al. We've stayed in this complex before, but first time in this unit. It was spacious enough for 3 of us. The owners were very responsive to any questions, and did their best to ensure we enjoyed our visit. We'd certainly stay here again!

My cute family of 3 stayed for 5 nights for a soccer tournament. My 13 year old loved the ability to walk around to shops, ice cream etc with friends near by. Incredibly safe, so many options for food and the condo was quiet at night. You'll find everything you need for the beach, chairs, towels, boogie boards. 5 min walk to beach. Highly recommend!!!!

Very nice apartment just steps away from downtown Carlsbad Village. Close to the beach and everything the village has to offer. Place was clean and well-provisioned. Definitely recommended to other travelers. Bar nearby had a live band on FRI night that was a bit loud, but they didn't go too late, so not a big deal...just something to be aware of.

An ideally quaint 2 story condominium complex located in the heart of Carlsbad Village. The unit (#12), was a second floor unit, very spacious, nicely laid out, and well equipped and furnished for a weekend, or a longer stay. An easy 3 block walk to the Carlsbad public beach access, great restaurants (for all meals), shopping district and the Amtrak / Coaster Station. Highly recommend for a stay in Carlsbad Village.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was great - quick walk to the village and the beach. Even though it was so close to town we found it to be a quiet spot most of the time. It's close to the train, and could hear it early mornings, but did not bother us at all. We took the train to San Diego and it was quick and easy (and of course within walking distance). We would definitely stay again!

Great location! We stayed over a long weekend and there is a LOT within walking distance including, shops, restaurants, bars, and recreational activities. The beach is a short walk away as is the train, which gives you easy access to shoot in and down the coast to nearby towns. Only complaint, the bed is hard, so if you're used to a softer mattress you may want to bring some extra padding. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Our rental exceeded our expectations! Very clean and nicely furnished. So comfortable for the two of us. The location was fantastic. Our idea of relaxing is parking the car and not driving until we leave to go home. Mission accomplished! Nick and Elisa are great communicators and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. Great location!!! Easy walking distance to everything, Carlsbad Village is literally right out the back door and the beach is an easy few blocks away. There is a bar next door and the train station is also close -- so you will hear some noise, but nothing that kept us awake or was too disruptive. The apt. is cute and very clean. It had everything we needed, including beach chairs and a boogie board. The kitchen was well equipped and appliances worked well. The living area is set up well, the bedroom spacious and comfy and the bathroom was decent sized.
The Village offers lots of choices for restaurants and shops. I felt comfortable letting my older teens walk around alone and explore in the evening. My kids took surf lessons from a close by shop on the beach, which turned out to be their favorite part of the trip. We drove a short distance to get to an area for tide pools exploring, which was also fun. Overall, a great rental! Would happily stay again!

This condo complex is perfect for those with little kids. Every night kids play in the courtyard with each other. You're just a few blocks from beach so it's easy to come home in the middle of the day and return in the afternoon. This condo is filled with everything you need. We will stay here again!

My host (Nick) kept in close contact with me before, during and after our trip to ensure a great stay for us! He was 10 minutes away in case we needed anything. Nick and Elisa left us delicious treats in the fridge, and a personal welcome note. We were in Carlsbad for a wedding and came into town from SD a few hours early. Nick was very timely with providing us the information we needed to access the apt, and even worked with us to get us in to the apt earlier than 3pm. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and great weather! The apt is literally 2 blocks away from the beach and a block away from central Carlsbad. It was located in a safe area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I got regular texts from Nick asking if I needed anything and how things were going. The location is just over a block from the beach and within the Carlsbad Village, which is pretty darn cute. Good cross breeze with windows, also an A/C unit if needed. Nice kitchen, charming bedroom. Fold down sofa was comfortable and EASY compared to fold out sofas. Beach towels, chairs and beach toys (boogie and surf boards, shovels and buckets) provided!

This is our second time staying at this condo for our kiddo's fall break vacation. The new owners were great to work with and have recently freshened up the rental with new paint, fixtures, appliances, and an additional AC unit for the front of the home. We were pleased to find a coffee grinder and toaster in the cabinets along with every cooking utensil, spice/cooking oil we needed. This is a great place! A little village right in the heart of Carlsbad village. Everything is within walking (beach, shopping, food) We even went to the village farmers market on Wedneday and picked up fresh vegetables and bread for our Thanksgiving dinner. Nick and his wife are excellent host. Any question we had were answered in just minutes. Thank you!

A cute little beach apartment indeed, and a great location. We are in this area several times a year, so being able to walk to some of our favorite places was great.
•The good: It's an older and charming apartment that has nice updates.

•The walls are thin and we could hear the people next door...
•(if you don't know the area...we do) you should know that you will enjoy the sound of the train no matter where you stay all along the coast.

Had a wonderful stay with my family (which included a toddler). The apartment was very clean and extremely well stocked with kitchen wear, condiments, cleaning supplies. The apartment had plenty of extra towels and bedding, which was a help. There is coin laundry in a little building on the property. The grounds were very nice with a big grassy courtyard where my son liked to play. A good. Inner o f places to eat right down the block. Easy walk to the beach. I come to the area for work, but brought my surfboard as I try to get some fun in as well. Location great for beach and local shop/restaurant access. While I was not here for vacation, the place was well equipped for a full family with lots of beach gear. Great relaxing setup and full kitchen. Nick is a great host. He always responded quickly to my requests throughout the entire process. The condo was very clean and met our needs. The location is incredible for experiencing Carlsbad. There are 3 breakfast cafes, multiple restaurants, Starbucks, convenience store within a 5 minute walk. We walked to dinner on State Street. And most importantly it is ONE BLOCK from the beach. We will definitely come back.

Along with my wife and two year old, I had the pleasure of staying in Nick's condo for a couple of days. The pictures represent the place well. Everything was neat and clean and we felt right at home. The location was perfect for exploring Carlsbad, especially the downtown village area which is literally just down the street. While the nearby train did slightly hinder my wife's sleep, I slept through it just fine (unfortunately had to keep the windows shut for that reason). I'd be happy to stay here again.

Loved this place! Perfect location, you won't need a car. Not just the beach but breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping, bookstore, beach rentals and more within 5 minute walk. Yet it was somehow also quiet and residential-feeling. Amazing! Place was super clean, and they added lots of thoughtful details - wooden hangers in the closet, plush carpet in the bedroom, an automatically opening trash can. Would stay here again!
P.S. Something to keep in mind about Carlsbad is that the coaster train runs through town

Across the street from the beach and a five minute walk to restaurants, shops. Amazing location. Condo was clean and looked just a pictured. As other reviewers noted, the train station is a few minutes away and trains run 18-20 hours a day. Takes a bit of getting used to but you will hear this no matter where you're staying in downtown Carlsbad. Nick was great and stayed in touch throughout the trip. We had a great time despite the rain!

This is a wonderful spot in Carlsbad. A perfect sized unit with everything you could possibly want. Beautifully decorated with a beach theme and fully stocked. We loved having the boogie boards, coolers, and a beach umbrella available. Truly a block away from the beach and less than a block away from coffee shops and restaurants. So walkable! Beautiful apartment, 5 mins walking to the beach with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance..my family of 4 stayed here for 7 days and wish we could've stayed here longer..Nick was also quick to response and had everything from beach chairs, kids toys to plush towels for the stay..highly recommend it!

Nick's place is a clean, cheerful, and well equipped condo. The location is excellent. It is a block from the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is also a well lighted off street parking area. The host was very responsive any time I had a question.

Great spot in a quiet complex. The train is close, but not an issue if you are ok with a little noise. The condo was clean and Nick was very responsive with any questions I had. Easy check in and out.

Really enjoyed Nick's Condo. Great location, right in the middle of central Carlsbad, close to great restaurants, and steps to the beach. Very comfortable. All the amenities, very comfortable bed, clean, and quiet. Designated parking is covered, but tight to get into. A large vehicle would have difficulties. But, having off street covered parking was great. Would definitely love to stay here again.

So much wonderful about this property. Comfortable, clean, and close to EVERYTHING! The beach is beautiful and so close. Shopping and restaurants within steps. Park 101 is one of the most enjoyable family friendly places and it's just out the front door of the property! I will definitely be back!

Nick's place was exactly what I was looking for. It has easy parking, walking distance to anything you would want for a beach town. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The condo was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a week long vacation for our family of 4. The location of this condo can't be beat, we enjoyed being just a short walk to the beach and so many restaurants! We appreciated the boogie boards and sand buckets for the kids on the beach. We've been coming to Carlsbad for years and will for sure be looking to stay here again!

Perfect getaway spot within walking distance of the beautiful beach, delicious restaurants, and fun shopping. Nick was a thoughtful host and made sure we got checked in okay after a long day of travel and suggested the farmer's market midweek. Everything you need for a fun stay is there from the well-stocked kitchen to beach chairs and umbrella! We stayed a week and loved every minute.

Nick was an excellent host. He was very helpful with anything we needed and responded quickly to all of my questions.
His condo was very comfortable and a perfect family home. We traveled with our 3 month old and 2 year old. This place had everything we needed to accommodate our young children.
The house had beach toys for our boys to borrow. Major bonus!
The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the air conditioning was another major bonus too!

Nick's place is sparkly clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It's within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the train. I loved that it was quiet, even on the weekend. The tv's worked great, the shower was fabulous, and the queen bed was comfy. I am very picky about air conditioning, and Nick's place has a good system. What an incredible (3.5-week stay) at Nick's "Beachy Condo" in January 2019!! This was a Business trip for my husband, while I got to enjoy everything the Village of Carlsbad offered & the Beach! I LOVED my daily jogs along the Beach Board Walk, often watching Dolphins & Seals playing in the waves. No need to bring Beach gear, Nick & Elisa have that already in the Condo ..a small cooler, Beach Towels, Chairs & Umbrella, Boogie Boards, Kids Toys. Perfect place for a beach getaway. Nick's place was amazing for my wife and I joined by our 1 year old daughter. Located a short walk from the beach would of been all we needed, but the apartment is super cozy and outfitted with anything you would possibly need to have a seamless stay. As everyone else has mentioned, the location and value is unbeatable. Grounds were prettier than expected (the tea tree is amazing). The accommodations were spacious enough for a small family. 2 adults would not fit on the pullout bed, but it worked for 2 kids. Everything was clean and we used the boogie boards and other beach equipment. This was a great place to stay, and Carlsbad and north county in general is a great place for a vacation.

Can't beat the location, we didn't have to move our car the entire stay because everything is within walking distance! The beach is a 3-5 minute walk at the most. The condo was clean, fully stocked and nicely decorated. The grass area downstairs was fun for our kids to run around in too. Overall a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning!

Perfect location! We really loved the location of the condo..... Just a block away from the beach and close to so many great shops and restaurants in Carlsbad Village. We really appreciated having the reserved parking spot since parking looks like it could be difficult. The condo was decorated so cute with a beachy theme and having the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. was super convenient. Overall we were very happy with the condo.

The place is perfect and location is outstanding!! We loved the coffee shop and ice cream right across the street. We didn't move our car for 4 days. Everything is walking distance. One day we walked to the train station to ride the train to San Diego. That was super easy and we had a blast riding the Coaster. It's proximity to the beach was what drew us there, but we discovered so much else was easily accessible- restaurants, a large courtyard, and much more. Nick's place is just as described: amazing location that we took full advantage of--walking to the beach each day and again back for sunsets in the evening, as well as to restaurants, coffee, etc. The train with its loud horn blasts does go right behind the place and is especially audible from the bedroom: once we figured out how to use the A/C unit in there combined with the ceiling fans to cool the place during the day, we kept the bedroom window (only) closed at night and slept better. Looks just like the pictures, the new couch bed is so comfy & the place was crazy clean. Definitely recommend. As a former Carlsbad local, I was so excited to return home and stay in the Village. You cannot beat the location of Nick's condo. You are within a few minutes walking to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. The condo is stylish, comfortable, and quiet. Nick is a fantastic host and responded quickly to our messages. Nick was an amazing host! Everything was so clean. The towels & sheets were soooo soft. We used the kitchen for a few meals and had everything we needed. The location was everything!! You really can't get a better spot than right in the Village & a few minutes of a walk to the beach and boardwalk. The AC kept things super cool & they had a pack & play all set up for us. I hope we can stay at one of nicks properties in the near future!

It was really helpful to have a parking spot right on site, where we could leave our car for the whole weekend. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Carlsbad.

Very clean and stylish apartment with easy access to the beach and bars and restaurants. AC definitely helps out in the summer. Free carpot parking (also free street parking as well). Bed was clean and comfortable (medium firm).
Only drawback is it's close to the train tracks, but we hardly noticed it after the 1st night.
We would definitely rent this apartment again for location and cleanliness.

My wife and i stayed here for a week and had an awesome experience. The apartment is in a perfect location next to the beach and downtown. We appreciated the full kitchen including all essentials and even a dishwasher! The laundry room and parking was also a huge convenience. The place was supposed to be for my sister but when everything started to shut down, she decided last minute not to visit so we decided to stay there instead. Fabulous place - stay here!This place is darling and equipped with all the beach fun you could want (e.g. chairs, boogie boards) in addition to a well-stocked kitchen (electric wine opener!). Its across the street from one of my all-time favorite cafes, and a few blocks further gets you beach access. We were cozy here on cool nights and Nick was super responsive. Such a wonderful place - would recommend to anyone!

This very clean unit was in the heart of downtown providing many options for dining and for such things as renting electric bikes. The Best!The condo was neat and clean and fully furnished right down to supplied toilet paper. The location was ideal and a car not necessary in order to enjoy the beach and village. Best staycation!My wife and I stayed at this amazing and spacious beachy getaway for 2 nights. It is extremely close to Carlsbad village and the Ocean. It was very clean and exceeded our exceptions! Will definitely be staying here again soon!

Fantastic location!My husband and I stayed at this condo for a week and really enjoyed the walkabilty of the location. The condo had everything we needed (even an iron and ironing board!) for our business/leisure trip! Nick was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. Absolutely LOVED it!!!Nothing not to love about this spotless 1 bedroom Carlsbad beach condo...located within the village, it's a great location within walking distance to basically everything, including 1 block to an accessible beach, live music, restaurants, bars, etc. We were really impressed with Nick getting back with us immediately when we contacted him. Fun time in Carlsbad.Had a fun time at Nick's place in Carlsbad. Very clean, well appointed apt. In absolutely the best location. One block to the beach and one block to shopping and restaurants. This was our fourth trip to Carlsbad and had a great time, as usual. Wonderful weather and fun activities.

Cozy and comfortable beach condo in the heart of Carlsbad!My twin 17 yr old daughters and I stayed for 6 nights during February break. We absolutely loved the location of the condo. Very satisfiedOur stay in Carlsbad couldn't have been better. The weather was great and the condo was just what we were looking for. The unit was well stocked, clean and close to everything, however, the light in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling. Yes, the train can be heard but we did not find it objectionable. We rented a Ford Edge SUV and found it difficult to get in and out of the covered parking space designated for our unit. We were overall satisfied and will definitely stay at this unit aga

Great Place! Perfect Location!This condo was absolutely perfect. The owner checked in on the day we arrived to see if we had any needs which we didn't because it is clean, stocked with kitchen, bed, and bath needs, and is in a great location. Great experience and location.Clean, beachy feel with great BBQ in common area. Quiet but close to all the restaurants and one block from beach. Parking a large SUV in the assigned parking spot may be challenging. Owner was very responsive for questions and extremely welcoming. Train noise was not an issue for us. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Exceeded every expectation ...By far the condo was the best appointed and stocked we've rented. And the location is fabulous. Our concern about whether it was going to be noisy (being so close to town and the beach) was put to bed when we were —literally, We slept well every night and marveled at the peacefulness of the place. The owner was also immediately available to answer questions by text/phone. Only challenge was the narrow parking stall, but after a few tries that was very manageable. We'll be back!

Everything we neededThis was our 4th summer stay at the condo. The location is perfect, close to the beach and close to the village. The condo has it all. A full kitchen, a couch that coverts to a bed, and AC. I really appreciated the upgrades Nick made like the new paint, new windows, new dishwasher, and a larger TV. We'll definitely be back!

Location, location, locationAs advertised, this condo is located one block from a beautiful beach in the heart of picturesque downtown Carlsbad. It is well appointed with all the kitchen amenities required to prepare meals, extra towels for the beach and even bungi boards, if you so choose. We found Carlsbad to be a wonderful beach community that provided a real vacation from the L.A. madness scene. We would return here in a heartbeat and heartily recommend Nick's place.

Comfortable and convenient!We loved staying in the beachy condo! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Everyone slept well and had hot showers. We used the beach chairs that were so thoughtfully provided. Plus, we were able to park in the covered parking spot and walk wherever we wanted to go all weekend without any problems. We ate at many of the places the owners recommended (thanks for the tips!). And enjoyed the fact that the beach was such a short walk away! Hope to stay here again!!

Great family friendly locationAs soon as we walked in it felt like our own little beach getaway. We never had to use the car to get to the beach, great meals, nail salons or ice cream.

Cozy, convenient, home away from homeThis condo is not much to look at from the outside - property is outdated, though well-maintained - but on the inside, it was just lovely.
It is on the 2nd floor, so expect a short stair climb. It is situated practically ON a train track and the train whistle blows loudly & frequently, but I think the insulated windows do a decent job of masking the noise. Some might even find it quaint :)

The place is very clean and cute. You are right next to the beginning of Carlsbad Village. You can walk one block to cross the street on to the beach front and see Sunset. Your walking distance to shops and restaurants besides the beach. A perfect place to stay and not use a car to get from place to place. We plan on staying there again.

The place itself was nicer than hotels you can rent out there. Very clean and they supply you with everything you could possibly need. Shampoos to boogy boards it was there. Communication was quick. Wish I had planned our vacay around this rental and took advantage of it.. maybe next time, I'll definitely be seeking this place out again if we come back:) You really can't beat the location if you are looking to be near the beach, bars, restaurants, shops. My hubby and I spent 3 nights the coastal casita and absolutely loved it. It's even closer to the beach than we realized and in the heart of Carlsbad so easy walking to lots of restaurants. We didn't use our car the whole time we were there. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds of the complex were also very nice with a grassy courtyard and attractive landscaping. We also appreciated Nick's prompt communication and detailed check in instructions. Would definitely recommend!

This is the perfect location for a Carlsbad stay! Walking distance to everything, including the beach, shops, and restaurants. Only downside is it is right next to the train tracks so you hear the train several times throughout the day and night. Otherwise it was the perfect stay for our vacation. The hosts were easy to communicate with and even reached out in the middle of our trip to see if we had any questions or needed anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location near the beach and town of Carlsbad.This location was exactly what we needed it to be - a cozy little spot right in the heart of lovely Carlsbad with amazing beach access. Everything worked properly and was clean. Be aware that he bedroom faces a well lit parking lot, so sensitive sleepers might want to bring an eye mask. The location is great with reserved parking and just walk to the beach or plenty of restaurants around. The host was attentive and responsive, the place was clean, the mattress was comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has clean towels and shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. The only thing as others mention is that you'll hear the train from the bedroom but just pack some earplugs and it's definitely worth it.

Great Time in Carlsbad VillageI rented this cute condo for myself, daughter and 2 children (5 & 7). We had a wonderful time.. Everything was stocked for your needs including bottled waters, extra towels, extra blankets and the beds were absolutely comfortable. We could walk across the street to beach and you're right there in the Village.
Cafe Elyse is great spot for breakfast and the Pizza place on the corner has amazing food.

Our stay at Coastal casita was beyond what we thought it would be. We didn't want to leave! The communication at any time of day was always clear and quick. We felt comfortable to always ask questions or if we needed anything extra they had a folder with activities and local restaurants, that for sure didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect except the noise (music) from the Park 101 restaurant/ bar playing loud music outside until after midnight and again at 7am. They weren't open at 7am but it looked like employees getting ready for the day.

Haustay Vacation Rentals was the perfect place for my GF and I. We both love surfing and this spot is literally 5 minutes away from the beach and only a block away from all the restaurants and shops! Great place to stayComing to Carlsbad for a ladies get together, this was a perfect place to stay for myself and a friend of mine. It's a cute place, clean and in a safe location. A great thing about it is when you walk out of the complex you're just steps from town and a block away from the beach. Everything is so easy to get to. The perfect getaway place near Carlsbad Village and the ocean! The hosts were communicative and had the process down like a well-oiled machine. They made sure we felt right at home when we checked in and had the pack n'play and sofa bed ready to go. It was a convenient, safe location perfect for our little family.

The location is perfect right in the middle of Carlsbad village you can walk to any part of the village within 10 minutes. Great location for using the coaster train to go south downtown and Old Town. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I'll be booking this stay again on my next business trip.

Our favorite Airbnb to date! Fabulous location. Can confirm that the trains are heard from in the rental however, we found it charming. Individual assigned parking was a plus!! Loved all the beach equipment (chairs, towels, surfboard, etc.).

I have stayed at this location numerous times. I travel to Carlsbad on business fairly often. I enjoy staying in the Village. Convenient access to everything the Carlsbad village has to offer including beach access, restaurants, shops, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable. The convenience of the location was great. Such a delicious breakfast right across the street. We also appreciated having coffee in the unit which is not common in any of the air B&Bs we stayed in. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Thank you.

this AirBnb was raddd!!!! And it was nice and cozy and spacious enough for 3 guests to fit perfectly and right next to great restraunts really recommend via Val Italian super good and beach is just a block away perfect for like 3 days and the house was great had everything and owners were good responders so good stay def come back soon. Peace. 10/10 stay dog!!!!.

We really enjoyed our time here, the condo was in a fantastic location. It's next to some very popular bars and restaurants, so during the summer months it's super noisy at night, but sleeping with ear plugs works wonders. Not the hosts fault at all, they are fantastic and we will be staying here again!

We are extremely pleased with our stay at The Coastal Casita. We will definitely be back the next time we visit this area. Really convenient and close to everything.
Attention to detail was top level and it looked exactly like the pictures.

Best locationOur first mini vacation in Haustay was a blast! What a fantastic way to celebrate our Birthdays, Anniversary & Retirement in Carlsbad! Our condo unit is accessible to nearby restaurants, stores, & of course the beach! We are seniors & everything close is a big plus! We're looking forward to our next visit & hopefully stay in the same place!

Location Location LocationLoved the property! Location was perfect and loved that we were right next to Carlsbad Village and the beach was a five minute walk away. The moment you walk onto the property you are greeted with a beautiful and lush landscape and are shielded from the noise and bustle of
the town around you. The condo is decorated very cute and was very clean. It was a perfect get away for my wife and I. Would recommend.

A perfect get awayWe took our son for his 10th bday trip. The location could not be topped. Walking distance to shops and eateries (and amazing coffee) and the beach. Had all the beach items we would need. A comfy bed for us and he slept on the pull out couch bed. We had a small kitchen which was all we needed. The neighbors were amazing. We had an incredible time. We made it to the zoo. Legoland. Solana beach, an amazing slot canyon hike minutes from solana and went to see the sea lions! Very great space!

Fantastic experience overall. Absolutely amazing location for walking to beach and shops and dining. Host was proactive, and professional yet laid back and not uptight or overbearing. Place is charming updated beach chic, comfy bed and individual ac units in both the living room and bedroom. enjoyed the larger TV and quiet complex. A wonderful value overall. Parking space and small complex very easy to find. Charming, beautiful and very safe area. Would not hesitate to stay again.

ExcellentThis is an easy 5+ star rating. Immaculately clean condo in a perfect location. Never took my car out of the (reserved) parking space because everything and anything is within an easy walk. The owners have installed two a/c units that get the place cool very quickly if it's warm outside. Quiet neighbors, beautiful grounds… can't really say enough good things about the unit, and I definitely look forward to returning.

Nice, well-equipped, and clean little unit. It is very close to all the activities and restaurants of downtown Carlsbad. We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very attentive and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

We have stood here before quite a few years back. It was still the same nice and quiet place.
It is hard to believe it is around the corner from all the action.
Great location from downtown Carlsbad and the beach. Once you are here you really do t have to drive anywhere. We walked everywhere.
We will be back in the future.

Could not have been happier with our stay. This place is right in the heart of Carlsbad Village and we had an awesome time walking wherever we needed. Whether the beach, restaurants, shopping everything was close and convenient. Our hosts were awesome! They were quick to respond to any questions, provided recommendations and came over within 30 minutes to help us with an odd request. A+++++ for the property, the location and the hosts!

As soon as we walked in it felt like our own little beach getaway. We never had to use the car to get to the beach, great meals, nail salons or ice cream.
