Underground reserved gated parking is serviced by an elevator providing guests step free access from parking to the condo.
Less than 15 minutes from both Carlsbad and Encinitas, guests can spend their days enjoying beaches, dining, shopping and all that San Diego has to offer.

The location was perfect for our needs, and the property is absolutely beautiful. The condo itself was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck. As older guests, we did find the tub/shower combination challenging. The listing does mention that the tub is high, but it is significantly higher than expected and may be difficult for some guests to access safely. One suggestion would be to note in the listing that the refrigerator/freezer does not have an ice maker. We appreciated having a reserved parking space in the garage; however, guest parking was limited. When my sister visited, there were no nearby spaces available. We noticed that many of the visitor parking spots appeared to be occupied long-term, and some people placed signs in the space when they left indicating it couldn't be used. Overall, this was an excellent rental, and we would highly recommend both the property and the La Costa Resort. We enjoyed our stay

Nick and Elisa were so prompt with their responses. Great and clear communication. Made my family feel so welcomed with snacks and some beverages for the adults. I've stayed at Costa Balboa twice now and both experiences have been really good. The location is excellent as it's at LaCosta and about 15 minutes to Encinitas, Carlsbad and another 5 on top of that to Oceanside. We're members at LaCosta so it was awesome to roll out the front door and enjoy golf, tennis, and the pools. The condo has 2 bedrooms - One adjacent to the balcony and another behind it which gives a nice option between having a bit of a view out in the AM or creating a nice dark cave for sleeping

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The place was clean and very comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen, but it appeared to have everything you would need to cook at home. It was a 10min drive to the beach. 12-15mins to Encinitas. 30-40mins to the zoo. Great central location to do a lot of family adventures. Great dining options nearby.

Beautiful and safe location. Stayed there with my family. Two boys (11 and 13) and my husband and I. My 13 year old refused to share a bed with the 11 year old so he chose to sleep on the couch. My husband and I are pretty athletic so we had no problems but if you are traveling with an elderly person they may have trouble getting into the very deep shower/tub. But we had no problems, we just felt like we need to do a little more yoga. We really enjoyed going for walks because it is in the same location as t

Great stay on the property of the Omni La Costa for two co-workers who had a conference in September 2021. 2-3 minute walk to the main ballrooms that the conference was hosted at, as well as 2-3 minute walk to the main hotel where the restaurants and bars are. The attention to details made this home away from home one of our best! From the quality of the linens, to providing pool towels, to the units decor, we could not have asked for anything more!! The unit is located in a small building on the Omni La Costa property, offering all the amenities of staying at the resort. Nice stay close to many southern California's cities/must see & do attractions. The unit itself was cleaned well. Matching the pictures and descriptions. Check in was smooth, make sure to read attached instructions when booking. Only issue was the bathtub/shower entrance is bit high, pregnant women and disabled may have issues with this. Great family vacationWe stayed as family of 4 and the apartment was perfect. The kids enjoyed the pool right next to the apartment house.
The kitchen is equipped with basic tools and everything was on hand to make breakfast and a family dinner.

I travel to this area very frequently and it is always hard to find a quality place at a reasonable price. I thought this house had great amenities, it was clean and nice, had right amount of utensils, etc. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Fun WeekendThis property is everything you need for a fun weekend with family. The manager communicates very well with you.
Also being next to the hotel is very convenient for morning coffee and late-night snacks.

Great place to stay in a beautiful setting !! The condo was secure with coded front entrance doors and garages. Kitchen was well equipped with appliances and everything you needed to make a home cooked meal. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms were clean and fully stocked . Overall great place to stay !

We loved our stay at Haustay. We were two families traveling - 2 adults & 3 kids. Had a blast at the pool and loved the area. They were great hosts and very responsive!

The stay was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. We visited with our newborn and made use of the high chair and pack and play which were extremely helpful! Bedrooms are spacious enough and patio is perfect. We weren't able to find a ramp/accessible entrance to the building so he had to climb three stairs with the stroller and suitcase but made do. AC unit was a necessity as it was warm and humid in SD this weekend. We recommend you leave bedroom doors wide open when you leave the unit so the whole place

Very responsive host, beautiful location, lovely neighborhood with extremely kind people. The complex has a lot to offer especially if you are into tennis and golf. The day starts quite early though, get ready to hear some blowers at 7AM. You won't be bothered much if you have the balcony doors shut. Place is clean with all you need quite well organized. The bathtub is not for people with leg problems. Too high and too wide for many. This part of Carlsbad is amazing! Loved the surroundings. Shopping mall ne
