Our ocean view condo located in what we lovingly call Juniper Beach 1BR, is located steps away from a staircase leading down to the pristine beach of Carlsbad, CA. This unit is a one bedroom, one bathroom vacation retreat that sleeps two adults. As soon as you walk in the door the elegant beachy decor welcomes you to your beach vacation. When you are ready grab a boogie board or go surf. You will be on the beach and enjoying the water within minutes. If you prefer to explore on land, this home is known for it's "walkability" located walking distance to excellent restaurants such as Vigilucci's, Park 101, and many shopping options located in the Village. After a fun filled day, head back to your vacation rental to retire to your private second floor deck to watch beautiful sunsets go down over the Pacific Ocean nightly.

This unit is a one bedroom, one bathroom, ocean view unit located in beautiful Carlsbad, California. The home does have AC which is difficult to find in Carlsbad and has amazing ocean views.

Guests will have exclusive access to the unit with self-check in capability via a smart lock. Guests will have one reserved parking spot on the property. The unit and ocean view patio are for the exclusive use by the guest. The Outdoor courtyard on the east side of the property and the laundry area is shared with three other units in the building.

This property is professionally managed by Haustay Vacation Rentals who will always be available for any guest inquiries.

Located along Carlsbad Boulevard known for its good beach break surf out front of the house and fun tidal pools for the kids to explore at low tide just south in the Terramar area.

Car is not required due to the great walkability of the location and easy access to car services such as Uber and Lyft.

Quiet hours outdoors start at 9PM. No parties are allowed. No Pets. No smoking or vaping.

Cool and cozy little getaway! We especially loved the charming courtyard with its beautiful water feature—it created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere every time we returned from the beach, breakfast, or dinner. The living room was thoughtfully decorated, and the couch was incredibly comfortable. We got so cozy with a blanket and pillows that we ended up falling asleep while watching TV on our first night! The ocean-view balcony was another favorite spot, and we enjoyed watching people and their dogs stroll by. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again soon!

I had a wonderful stay in Carlsbad with Haustay Vacation Rentals. The location was fantastic—the beach was within walking distance, and even with some construction near the condo, it was only about a five-minute walk. The area was still very easy to get around on foot and had the same relaxed, walkable feel you expect in Carlsbad Village. The team at Haustay was very responsive and quick to help whenever I had questions or needed anything. The unit itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing beach vacation. One of my favorite parts of the stay was waking up each morning and being able to see the Pacific Ocean. It really made the trip feel peaceful and memorable. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay that’s close to the beach and in a great walkable area, I would definitely recommend Haustay Vacation Rentals.

A Hidden Gem in Carlsbad!

We lived in Carlsbad for many years and were so happy to find this gem! The view from the balcony almost stopped us from doing much else. Access to the beach, sea wall and running path could not have been more convenient. So nice to park the car and not have to use it - walk to everything that the village has to offer. Our hosts were super throughout the experience from booking to checking out with accurate and timely information to make us feel welcome. The property is exactly what we needed for a couple's long weekend. Super comfortable bed, tidy very well-equipped kitchen, spotless bathroom. Off street parking spot was a big plus. The complex was so quiet we weren't sure anyone else was there. Although we didn't use the common patio, what is available for seating, fire ring and water feature was very inviting. We were so happy for choosing Juniper Cottages!

Great location - steps to the beach and a relaxing walk into Carlsbad Village where you'll find lots of good restaurants and shopping. Peaceful neighborhood. Other tenants were quiet and I did not hear traffic or train noises at night. Comfortable accommodations with little extras that made the stay nice! The dedicated parking space made getting in an out a breeze. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor courtyard but it looks like it would be a cozy place to hang out. A great place for a couple or a single traveller. Hosts are very responsive to all questions or concerns. I would definitely book this place again!

I loved the one bedroom apartment off the beach. Watched the sunsets from the balcony and enjoyed the backyard set up. The apartment was beautifully furnished most comfortably. It was equipped with everything I needed and immaculately cleaned. The bed was so comfortable including the linen. I found it was walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and transportation (20 to 30 minutes) with stunning views along the way. It was a 10 out of 10 for me.

Perfect all around!Not our first time staying in a rental property on the Carlsbad coast, but definitely the best. Our AC was acting up (making lots of noise) the first day and it was fixed within hours! Truly appreciate the attention we received. The cottage was super cute and very comfortable. Loved the patio with the ocean view. Tons of amenities in the room, and plenty of chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Having the laundry available was great too!! Perfect experience from check in to check out!

Beautiful locationWe checked in very late, and still easily followed the simple directions. The A/C was very nice and there was a big box fan for white noise. The unit was immaculate and just as advertised- luxurious and with a great view of the beach from the balcony and couch! Parking was convenient and it is a very walkable location. Despite being right on the beach road, it was very quiet!

Perfect for twoThis one bedroom condo is perfect for two people with a wonderful view of the ocean. It was very easy to find and within walking distance of Carlsbad village. The condo was very clean and came with just the right amenities like coffee, big bath towels, access to laundry and more. The designated parking spot was a big plus as this beach area is very popular. The management team was on top of everything and access to the condo was easy. Fantastic place to stay, could not recommend it more! The location is phenomenal, right across the street from the beach and so close to restaurants and shops. You don't even need a car, everything is within walking distance. The unit itself is so charming and well maintained. The balcony has a great view of the ocean; so fun to sit there and watch the world go by. We also loved the cozy courtyard and it's amenities. If you have an opportunity to stay here, do it… it's a true gem!

Absolutely perfect location! Sits on a quiet side street just around the corner from Carlsbad Blvd - so it's close to everything without the busyness / traffic / noise of a main thoroughfare. Very cozy and comfortable apartment. Nick & Elisa were easy to communicate with - friendly, flexible and very responsive. My husband and I will definitely stay here next time we visit Carlsbad. I highly recommend.

very nice and clean. on the smallish side. but that's living at the beach, I guess. i found the wifi upload and download speeds slow. for ex, my work laptop would not connect via vpn. bed was on the too firm side. otherwise, a great stay. thank you
