Travel Advisor Commission Policy

Haustay Vacation Rentals values the relationships travel advisors build with their clients. To support these partnerships, we offer commissions on eligible bookings made through professional travel advisors.

Commission Structure

• Base Commission: 5% of gross rental revenue (nightly rent only; excludes cleaning fees, taxes, and optional services).
• Preferred Partner Commission: 10% of gross rental revenue, available to travel advisors who:
  • Generate repeat bookings, or
  • Deliver high-value reservations (e.g., extended stays or premium properties).

Eligible Bookings

• Reservations must be made directly with Haustay by a recognized travel advisor (not via OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com).
• Bookings must be confirmed with a valid IATA, CLIA, TRUE, or ASTA membership number, or equivalent industry credential.
• Travel advisor name and agency details must be provided at the time of booking.

Commission Payment Terms

• Commission is calculated on net rental revenue received by Haustay.
• Payment is issued within 30 days of guest check-out.
• Payments will be made by ACH transfer or check, depending on advisor preference.

Exclusions

• Cleaning fees, security deposits, taxes, pet fees, resort fees, and third-party services (e.g., excursions, catering) are not commissionable.
• Canceled or refunded bookings are not eligible for commission.

• Priority consideration for familiarization (FAM) stays to experience Haustay properties firsthand.
