Fantastic property right next to the beach, with an easy commute to Legoland and neighboring Carlsbad. Very responsive host and the property was quiet with good amenities (well stocked fridge, washer/dryer, kids books/toys, hot tub, blackout shades). The host did ask for us to sign an external contract, which I didn't mind, and charged for basic things like a play and pack. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

This Airbnb was really nice to stay in. Plenty of room. The air conditioning is amazing. Everything was as expected. We will definitely stay here again. The only things to know is there is no TV in the queen bedroom and there are beach toys and chairs located in the storage on the backside of the garage. Also, the coffee pot is a Keurig. They have a huge washer and dryer, plenty of room to wash beach blankets and towels.

Great location close to the beach! The closest beach however is bluffs and only accessible by a lot of stairs. Nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The house is very cool and vintage with a lot of original elements that we really liked. It was clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We really appreciated the blackout shades on the windows as well. Being so close to the beach, there were some very rusty things at the house that needed replacing like the paper towel holder and the outdoor table on the patio. We had to lay towels over it so our toddler could use it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Midcentury gem! The home was so cozy and yet functional. We absolutely loved the backyard! Extremely private, well furnished, clean hot tub—your very own oasis. The quick 5 minute walk to the beach was the cherry on top! We were missing the keurig (which was advertised in the listing) and the owners of the airbnb had one rush shipped to the house and arrived that same evening! So attentive and responsive. Would highly recommend this airbnb!

Exceptional stay! The design is stunning, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The house is beautifully decorared, clean, and comfortable. The place is very near to beach, peaceful. hosts were welcoming, and made our stay truly unforgettable. We stayed with kids, and there were so many toys and books for both infant and toddler. The shuffle board, and hot tub was a great hit in our family. The game room also has so many things for both adults and kids. would definitely return.

This is a comfy home with great amenities in a quiet neighborhood. You can walk to the beach and the tide pools. It’s a short drive to downtown, supermarkets, and the train station. Staying in is great too! They have board games, shuffleboard, a fire pit, and a hot tub. Boogie boards, too! We had family come in from out of state over the holidays and had 6 of us staying here for a week. It was very comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. If you’re looking for a relaxing, easygoing stay with some beach time close by, this place is perfect. I would absolutely stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay at this location so that should tell you that we liked it a lot. We were in town for the Breeders Cup races at Del Mar racecourse - 2nd year in a row. The home is not new and fancy but it's very functional and met all of our needs. 3 bedrooms, two baths, large rooms throughout the house, ceiling fans in each bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, large screen TV, hot tub, and located in a very quiet neighborhood one block from the coast road, and 1/2 mile from I-5. There are some very nice restaurants in the area and we were lucky enough to be there during the Carlsbad Festival with 1000 vendor booths on Sunday. It's a great place we would rent again without hesitation.

We had a great stay in mid April. The beds are very comfortable, the house matched the description, and the neighborhood is really nice. Hot tub and firepit were a bonus and nice to relax by after a full day of sightseeing! I didn't see a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary k-cups though, and the bathroom shower attached to the primary bedroom is really difficult to get into - just awkward placement in the corner by the tub. The house is very clean and the host has great instructions and is responsive, would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay here! The home had a charming, 70s beachy vibe and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The extra baby items provided were a great bonus too. We had 6 of us in our group and the house is nicely spread so that we all felt like we had enough room. The management was incredibly responsive to any questions I had, and even showed up to give us some extra trash bags about 10 minutes after I had asked! If we find ourselves in Carlsbad again I would love to stay here. Great location to the beach, LEGOLAND, the Flower Fields, and overall accessibility to get around the area. Thank you for letting us use the beautiful beach home!

We booked this Airbnb a week before our trip to the Del Mar Breeders Cup after another Airbnb bailed on us at the last minute. It appears this was an Airbnb screw up as the owner informed me that he told Airbnb that his place was not available 3 months before our check in. So we found this place quickly and it did not let us down. Very spacious, very clean, great kitchen, great TV's, 2 very nice king sized beds, and ceiling fans in every bedroom. The neighborhood is nice, and quiet and close to Carlsbad shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from I5. The drive down the pacific highway (Hwy 101) is very scenic and takes you through some very nice areas with many shops and restaurants. The Breeders Cup is back at Del Mar next year so we're contemplating renting this place again. One last thing - when I communicated with the renters, they responded within a few minutes every time. They were very responsive!
