While the home is heated, it does not have air conditioning. However, its oceanfront location ensures refreshing breezes flow in through open windows and sliding glass doors. The property also does not have access to a washer and dryer. This property is professionally managed by Haustay Vacation Rentals and enforces quiet hours from 10 PM to 10 AM. Please note that parties, pets, and smoking (both indoors and outdoors) are not permitted. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to rent, though children are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony was incredible, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The BBQ grill and gas fire pit were a nice touch, too. The unit was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing week at the beach. It was conveniently located far enough away from the.vilkage to offer privacy and relaxation, but also close enough to be able to stroll in for restaurants and shops. We would totally stay here again.

You always hope that when you pick a place to stay it at least matches your expectations. Imagine finding a spot that actually exceeds it and really is right by the ocean. That you can walk out to the back patio, smell the sea, hear the crash of the waves, then walk a few steps and be on the beach!!! That would be this place. My friends and I had a great time! The condo was clean, stocked as described and had the best view. Downtown Carlsbad was an easy walk either via the beach or the neighborhood. I loved the opportunity to use the option of having the refrigerator stocked upon arrival. I hope to stay again and would certainly recommend it as a wonderful get away!!

Amazing place! I do wish there was more of a wall between the 2 units. Our neighbors had a get together and we felt like we were the outcasts of the party. But other than that it was great! Amazing views with great access to the beach! We would definitely love to come back regardless of the noisy neighbors. 4.5 stars out of 5!

We loved our stay here! Pros: -right on the beach with views, ocean noise, and amazing deck -clean place -full kitchen with paper towels, salt/pepper, water kettle and coffee pot, cookware and plates/cups/utensils -responsive host who was proactive about checking in and making sure our stay was great -walkable to downtown -incudes parking spot (though directions just said park on left side of driveway…make sure you are all the way left and not blocking the driveway at all…go parallel to the garbage cans)

Beautiful condo on the beach! I’d say it exceeded expectations. We loved being able to walk right down to the water, and it was also 10-15 min walk to Carlsbad Village for food. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, and the shower warmed up super fast. Loved our stay!

Wonderful stay, everything just as advertised in listing. View of beach/ocean was tremendous. Bed was very comfortable, the place was very clean. Great walking path closeby along the ocean. We were able to walk to dinner every night-great choices of restaurants. Only had 1 question during trip and the texted reply came within a minute. We would definitely return.

This place is simply awesome! I knew ocean waves are good white noise, but feeling it in person makes so much difference. It’s easy to have a good sleep there - even on the sofa bed in the living room felt awesome. I wish I had planned for nothing during the day and just make a cup of tea watching the ocean view followed by a barbeque in the balcony. Too bad we had a full day and didn’t enjoy much of the view.

Location great for quiet gateway but also easy walk to Carlsbad Village. Beach view spectacular! Unit was spacious for a one-bedroom. Wish there had been some shade on deck during afternoon, an umbrella would help. We stayed extra night because it was too hard to leave.

Everything was great. Only thing, not sure if you already knew but the panel for the fan/light on stove was lose and the fan never turned on. The best part of the stay were the pillows on the bed. Had a great night sleep. May I ask where you got them, please?

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and wanted to find a getaway close to the beach that was peaceful and serene. Well.....we found it!!! Our stay at the Ocean Street South Unit fit the bill perfectly. It is right on the beach with full length glass windows enabling us to watch the ocean and hear the sounds of the waves day and night. One morning we awoke to the sight of 2 whales spouting and breaching as they headed northward. Plus the ability to take long walks on the sand whenever we wanted. The place is a bit quirky, but it was clean and comfortable and had a huge king bed with comfy linens that helped us sleep like logs. The town of Carlsbad is quaint and fun to explore with lots of great restaurants. We recommend Vigilucci's Seafood Steakhouse for dinner. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and even accommodated a change to our schedule when our plans changed. We will most certainly return in the future.
