  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Guest receives 100% if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of booking.
    Guest receives 95% if cancellation occurs between 25 hours after booking and 31 days before arrival.
    Guest receives 50% if cancellation occurs between 30 days before arrival and 15 days before arrival.
    No refunds within 14 days of arrival.

  • How much is due at booking?

    If booked more than 30 days prior to your arrival date, 25% is due at the time of booking and the remainder 75% will be automatically charged to your credit card 30 days prior to arrival.
    If booked less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, 100% is due at the time of booking.

  • What are the check-in and check-out procedures?

    Guests are provided check-in instructions three days prior to their arrival date. All our properties are self check-in and most properties have smart locks

    Check-in is at 4:00 PM
    Check-out is at 11:00 AM.


    Early check-in and late departure requests are reviewed on a case by case basis and may be accommodated by host with the payment of a fee.

    Upon arrival please inspect the property for any damage and report it to us if any is found. All properties are inspected upon check-out, however, it is good to have communication between the guest and the manager regarding any potential damages.

  • What are your cleaning practices and procedures?

    Haustay Vacation Rentals is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness for all properties we manage. We provide clean linens, quilts, towels, and more at all properties for every guest.

    We use industry recommended cleaning solutions and supplies. Homes are inspected prior to your arrival to ensure the best possible presentation and to ensure our highest level of quality for each and every guest.

  • What do you provide in your vacation rentals?

    We provide toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, and coffee K-cups for the Keurig.

    We also supply bath towels, beach towels, clean linens, quilts, cold weather blankets, and where available beach supplies such as beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and kids beach toys.

    Please note we provide guests a starter set of supplies. For longer stays, guests will need to resupply items such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

  • Do recommend a company that provides baby gear?

  • Are your properties pet friendly?

    Some of our properties are pet friendly. This policy is for dogs only. We do not allow cats, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, lizards, llamas, birds, horses, or any other pets that are not dogs.

    To view our pet friendly properties please click here. Our pet friendly properties do require a non-refundable $150 pet deposit. All other vacation rentals at this time do not allow any pets.

  • Do you allow service animals?

    Yes, we welcome service animals at all of our vacation rental properties in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please notify us in advance if you will be bringing a service animal so we can ensure a smooth and comfortable stay.

  • Can I host an event at one of your properties?

    Each property is individually owned and it is at the owners discretion on if they will allow events or not. Typically most properties do not allow events as there are City noise ordinances that our properties must comply with. All events must be communicated to Haustay Vacation Rentals prior to confirmation of the guest's reservation. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the property with no refund.

  • Can I transfer dates or properties?

    So long as the arrival date is not within the next 30 days or so, guests may request to transfer properties prior to their reservation. The guest will be responsible for the difference, if the total is more than the original reservation. If the transfer results in the reservation being less than the original booking, the guest will be issued credit for the difference. The transfer of dates or properties is on a case-by-case basis and up to the sole discretion of Haustay Vacation Rentals.

  • Can I order a package to be delivered to the vacation rental?

    During a guests stay yes, however, Haustay Vacation Rentals cannot guarantee the guests package will be delivered, or that the guest will receive their package as Haustay Vacation Rentals is not part of the package delivery process.

  • I left something behind can you ship it back to me?

    If an item is left behind and we are able to find the item, we will ship it back to the guest at the guests expense for shipping. Any items left behind and not claimed within two weeks of departure will be discarded.

  • Do you offer a military discount?

    Yes, we appreciate the service of all U.S. military service members and we do offer a military discount. You can learn more about our discount by following this link Military Travel Discount

  • Is parking available at the rental properties?

    Most of our properties include at least one designated parking space, either in a garage or driveway. Please refer to the specific property listing for detailed parking information.

  • Are your properties equipped with Wi-Fi?

    All our properties offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, suitable for streaming and remote work.

  • What is your policy on smoking or vaping?

    All Haustay properties are non-smoking. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the properties, on balconies and patios, or on the property at all.

  • Do you provide beach equipment?

    Many of our properties include beach essentials such as chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. Please check the individual property listing for specific amenities.

  • Are there any age restrictions for booking?

    The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and present during the stay.

  • What should I do if I encounter an issue during my stay?

    Our team is available 24/7 to assist you. Contact information will be provided in your check-in instructions.

  • Do you offer housekeeping services during my stay?

    Mid-stay housekeeping is available upon request for an additional fee. Please contact us to schedule.

  • Can I bring additional guests after booking?

    Each property has a maximum occupancy limit. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring additional guests to ensure compliance with local regulations.
