Our stay was excellent and exceeded all our expectations. The walkable distances to an array of fine dining, casual bites and shopping gave us the flexibility we were looking for. The walks along the Pacific Ocean were beautiful and, of course one cannot match the California weather. The property is clean, the communication and check in procedures were timely and well communicated. Deserving of this five star rating. We will come back.

This spot was perfect for my daughter‘s sweet 16 getaway with its proximity to downtown Carlsbad, iconic views, people watching from the terrace, and steps from the sand. It's apparent that the home was recently renovated, with an attention to detail that's rare in vacation rentals. Our stay at this Carlsbad property was fantastic. The unit was exactly like the pictures. The deck was amazing and we spent most our time on it. The location is amazing, access to the beach was super convenient and the village is a few blocks away. Couple of minor things came up but the team was very responsive. Highly recommend and would love to come back !

This was likely our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many. Everything was immaculate and so peaceful. We visited with two young kids and it was very easy to navigate with them. The patio was a hit. My sister also stayed in the downstairs unit so this entire building makes the perfect option for families that need multiple separate spaces. Beginning to end it was wonderful and hosts were very easy to work with and gave everything needed for a fabulous stay. Thanks!

Beautiful place. We spent majority of the time on the amazing patio. The place was extremely clean and they had the pack and play and high chair already set up and ready when we got there. Very walk about. Carlsbad Village is an 8 minute walk and the beach entrance is literally across the street.

The home was very nice but we lived on the deck. The deck has both comfy chairs and a fire table and a dining table where we ate our meals. We loved the proximity to town and did not use our car for the entire stay, as we were able to walk everywhere.

Wow, what a spot! We were so close to the beach, downtown, and the most incredible restaurants. The view is the best part and they know it because you are paying for it! That said, it was worth every penny. The house has the best decor, plateware and pans! It sounds funny but, the thick, stainless pans were incredible and the ceramic coffee mugs seem to make our coffee taste even better. The only downside is there is no gate or door to the upper level. Anyone can walk right up to your terrace! The garage is shared between 3 busy units. Some of our things were taken, by mistake, but we ended up getting it most of it back. But, now I am home and wishing I was back in paradise at 110 Sycamore.

Our experience and stay here exceeded our expectations! What an amazing space - full of sunlight, welcoming furniture, a kitchen begging to be used, comfortable beds and top-of-the-line linens! We watched gorgeous sunsets from the deck every night while sitting by the firepit, listening to the ocean waves. The location could not be better - we walked to coffee shops, shopping, and 5-star restaurants. Access to the ocean and beach is directly across the street. The traffic is quiet and minimal, enjoyable to watch the activity from the deck. The most difficult decision is whether to stay on the deck and relax, or walk to dinner! The hosts were attentive and made sure we knew they were available at any time for anything we might need. We really appreciated the amenities - the large bedrooms with ceiling fans, king-size beds, large bathrooms with wonderful showers! We are already planning our return! Thank you!

So very much enjoyed our time at the Sycamore upper location. The apartment was immaculate and adorably decorated. I felt right at home. Bed was comfy, but enjoyed the couch even more with my cozy blanket. Patio is phenomenal, and we enjoyed evenings fireside listening to the ocean. Mornings we enjoyed breakfast at the patio table looking for dolphins in the waves. Haustay team was excellent and extremely caring. Responded quickly and allowed for early check in for a small fee and it was worth it. They pay attention to the small details. Loved our stay and we will definitely be back!

Amazing place to stay. We stayed here for legoland and a side of beach. The beach is right across the street and legoland is 5 min away. The house is amazing and the patio and view are perfect. Dinnys is a bar/restaraunt one block away and it’s really good and convenient to order and pickup food. Staying in the area, we were concerned about noise of the train but it wasn’t an issue here.

Had an amazing stay with Haustay Vacations at their Sycamore upstairs location. The apartment was a dream, clean and decorated exquisitely. Loved the beach theme- it felt like home! The Carlsbad Village was super close, just a few blocks to Better Buzz coffee and a bunch of restaurants. We had a huge private balcony with fire pit to enjoy our view of the ocean. The couch in the living room was my favorite spot with a cozy blanket. The team at Haustay was extremely kind and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had all we needed. Highly recommend the Haustay team and the Sycamore apartment. We will be back!
