This adorable, two-story home features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, two adjacent dining areas with seating for up to 14 guests, and multiple indoor living spaces adorned with classic touches.

On the lower level, find yourself enwrapped in gorgeous redwood from floor to ceiling—perfect for after-dinner socializing or movie watching. On the upper level (accessible via a spiral staircase), a second living area offers ocean views, additional comfortable seating, a wet bar, and access to a furnished balcony. Back on the ground floor, you'll find a lush patio area with outdoor seating, gas BBQ grill, and a fire pit.

Guests can walk 5 minutes to access the beach. The popular "Terramar" surf break is within walking distance for anyone who likes to surf or ride boogie boards. Terramar is also fun for those with little kids. During low-tide kids can explore the tidepools for sea critters.

This property is professionally managed by Haustay Vacation Rentals. Due to homeowner association rules, the nearby private beach access is not available to renters. Quiet hours outdoors start at 9PM. No parties are allowed. Pets are allowed (two dog max), no cats, with a $150 non-refundable pet fee per pet.

Pack ’n Play setup available as an add-on for $35 + tax, or upgrade to the Pack ’n Play + High Chair setup for $55 + tax.

Overall our experience with this house was amazing. The house itself is gorgeous with plenty of beds, lots of space, and a well-equipped kitchen. The courtyard is beautiful. It is very close to the beach and very convenient to get to. The owners were communicative before check-in and helpful throughout. The view from the upstairs master suite is a wonderful one to wake up to.

The place lived up to its description. The living spaces were spacious and well-decorated. Despite being right off Carlsbad Blvd., the place was surprisingly peaceful. It was only a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute drive into town. The host was responsive and checked in with us after the first night. Recommend this place to all.

A premium location in a cool neighborhood right above the beach. The house is a slightly quirky expanded beach cottage with tons of space, plenty of bathrooms and amazing outdoor areas. The upper living room/suite has a deck overlooking the beach. You can lie in bed and watch the surfers. It was very clean. The management agency was responsive. The beach is a 10 minute walk in either direction. Downtown shops and restaurants are less than a 10 minute drive. Or a 15 minute bike ride. Some road and train noise but the street is low traffic.

Great home with lots of space! The views from the upstairs bedroom were incredible with the view and sound of the ocean. The beach is a little bit of a walk - too far for an elderly family member but driving to the beach was still super close. The home smelled pretty intensely of cat pee coming from the garage area, the only downside. Great home with great amenities. We'd stay again!

Our stay at the beach house was so much fun. A few family members came and stayed. The house and amenities was everything that was listed on the site. It was clean and we all had fresh towels available. The ocean view was awesome! We all drank our coffee on the 2nd floor balcony to watch the surfers and paddleboarders. we had a little walk to a sandy beach, but that was fine. Overall it was a great place to relax and have fun too! Thank you so much for everything!

We had our annual girls trip here and it was big enough for us all with plenty of beds and multiple bathrooms. Clean house and many amenities. The view from upstairs is beautiful!! We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Good value. The floor plan was a little unconventional as the house has obviously been remodeled and expanded over the years but the space worked very well for us. There are several living and sitting areas inside and outside so we could spread out and be comfortable. The house is very well equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen. Our main mission was to take our grandson to Legoland and the location was perfect for that. I have visited Carlsbad many times on business but this trip allowed us to explore the town and see the many things Carlsbad had to offer. We would definitely stay there again.

Our group of 6 was extremely comfortable and happy here. The ocean view and the garden were magical. Having an en suite bathroom for each bedroom was a great perk and all the bedrooms are equally spacious and lovely.

Our stay was great. Suited our needs perfectly! Would definitely recommend to others! Home is a bit quirky but really comfortable. We loved the multiple gathering places both inside and outside of the home. Excellent location. Carlsbad has some great restaurants and we really enjoyed the downtown area. Easy to catch the Coaster down to San Diego (Old Town) from either Carlsbad location. We did a day trip to Disneyland and was an easy 1-hour drive. Beautiful ocean views from the upstairs. Our family, 5 adults and one dog, stayed three nights up-to Christmas Day. The property is a charming older beach house with plenty of room for larger families to spread out comfortably. The ocean view from the upstairs bedroom and balcony are amazing! Better than we expected. Our family spent Christmas Eve watching a movie in the upstairs family room and it was very comfortable. I thought this was an exceptional value for the time of year and location in Carlsbad being so close to our favorite restaurants

Our stay was great. The house was very clean and comfortable. Had a nice size back yard for our dog. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans/utensils if we needed to cook. Everything went well and the host a had excellent communication the whole time.

Our family felt right at home in this gorgeous house that was big enough for us and our 6 kids! The kids loved all having their own bed and space to enjoy. The walk to the beach was easy and quick! The view was amazing. We enjoyed every second of our stay and hope to make this a yearly tradition!

Great location with beautiful views from the second floor and easy access to nearby beaches. The house is close enough to the ocean that you can hear the waves crashing from the property or fall asleep to them when the windows are open. Not a far drive to downtown San Diego or activities in Oceanside. The host also provided great communication leading up to and during our visit.

Surfer's delight. You can walk to a good break from the house. And the house is better than described. It's not a cheap rental-only feel, it's real, real nice and feels like a home you're living in. The upstairs bedroom is incredible you can see the ocean from your bed and go to sleep to the sound of the waves. This place is great I would absolutely repeat a trip here.
